Disclaimer

  • I am not licensed as a therapist, professional listener, or coach. I won’t attempt to diagnose you or come up with any solutions for you.

  • I will only meet in public spaces such as restaurants, libraries, etc., or online.

    • Will I get in your car? No. Will I get in a taxi or rideshare with you? Most likely, as long as I see that it's a legitimate taxi/rideshare.

  • There will be no touching. But will I hug?

    • If you request a hug *and* I feel comfortable with it, then yes.

  • There will be nothing sexual, sensual, or romantic between us.

  • I will not pretend to be your date, nor will I pretend to be anyone I’m not. I am your Social Accompanist, nothing more.

  • Any communication outside of our session time is to be for planning and logistical purposes only.

  • It's okay for me to say no at any time. I don't have to do something I'm uncomfortable with.

  • I will refuse to engage in any criminal activity. (Obviously.)

Boundaries

I have the right to refuse any request for any reason, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • I’m uncomfortable with the request.

  • I have a scheduling conflict.

  • I feel that the request is outside of my scope.

Right to refuse

Cancellation

I ask that you notify me of your cancellation before I begin traveling to meet you, and that you reimburse me for any fare I may have already purchased. Other than that, there is no cancellation fee.
