Service fee calculation

I will provide you with a calculated estimate based on how long you expect us to be together and on my estimated travel time and transportation costs. At the end of our time together, I will provide you with an updated total to account for our actual session time.

Session time starts with the agreed-upon meeting time and ends when we part ways. (If I am late due to unforeseen circumstances, the session time begins when I arrive.)

Session time: $30/hour. (If you feel you cannot afford this rate, I will work with you on a solution. If this is the case, please let me know when you submit your request.)

A flat rate of $5 for travel time and transportation will be applied for in-person sessions within 10 miles of the 19067 zip code. For in-person sessions outside that radius, see the Travel time and Transportation sections below.

Travel time: $15/hour for estimated travel time (roundtrip). (For your reference, I am based in the Yardley area of Pennsylvania.)

I will use Google Maps and the agreed-upon meeting time as the “Arrive by” parameter to determine my estimated travel time. I will use the lower end of the time range provided by Google Maps. I will decide whether to go by car or public transportation based on our meeting location. I will charge only the estimated travel time, regardless of the actual travel time.

Transportation: I expect you to cover the roundtrip cost.

• If I will go by car, I will calculate the estimated cost of gas based on the travel distance to and from the meeting location, gas mileage of 34 mi/gal, and cost of gas of $3.00/gal.

• If I will go by public transport, I will let you know the exact cost once I have purchased my fare. 

• I will include any foreseeable & unavoidable parking fees in the estimate as well.

• At the end of our session, I will update the public transport and/or parking cost if either is actually less than (but not more than) what was estimated.

Other costs

Food/drink: If we are to dine or drink together, I expect you to cover the cost of my food and drink as well, and in real time (zero out-of-pocket for me).

Activities: If we are to do any activities together, such as go to a museum or a concert, I expect you to cover all associated costs, and in real time (zero out-of-pocket for me).
